I can imagine USA market or somewhere non-EU has the B-version while us in Europe have A-version, I can't imagine that I would for example possibly have the B-version while you would have the A-version when both of us are in Sweden/EU...?
How did you/them find out which one you got btw? I've tried looking it up through VIN number et.c but couldn't see anything stating if it was A or B version..

I believe its dictated by what trim you go for.
Anything less than a 330i youll get the weaker A version. If its the 300i youll get the B version.
