How did you/them find out which one you got btw? I've tried looking it up through VIN number et.c but couldn't see anything stating if it was A or B version..
I believe its dictated by what trim you go for.
Anything less than a 330i youll get the weaker A version. If its the 300i youll get the B version.

That's from my limited research.
