I had the same message last Friday when I uploaded the upgrade to the car from my phone.
I tried everything possible during the week-end but the same message was coming up "..you will be notified when the upgrade can be started..".
First I was suspecting my 12V battery not being fully charged but yesterday the update totally disappeared from both my car and the connect app. Now when I look for any new update it says that I have the latest one (3/2019) 
Is the same message still showing for you ? have you tried to call the Idrive hotline through your car ? |
Same for me saterday installed and now gone??
