I think it's the wheel gap that makes them look smaller.
I agree with you however I am hesitant to lower this car although I lowered my G35 Sedan.

If you just lower with springs you have a bouncy ride but corners amazing. Then you later need to change out suspension parts because they wear out faster.

Or you can go Coilovers but I don't know any that are out yet.

I am hung up on deciding to lower or not lower

I know BMW has very very good suspension already so I am not sure on a $70K brand new car I want to mess with that.

What do you guys think?
