If you just lower with springs you have a bouncy ride but corners amazing. Then you later need to change out suspension parts because they wear out faster.

I know BMW has very very good suspension already so I am not sure on a $70K brand new car I want to mess with that.

I've often lowered my cars, just a bit. I'm not a fan of the huge wheel gap they've had the past few generations. As well, it does handle a little better. I think it depends on the brand of springs, in regards to changing the ride dynamics. Through research on the forum, I've been able to make great decisions from what others have tried. Unfortunately, for this car, I'll have to go on previous experiences with different brands, as nothing has been tried, yet.
