I'm not sure I understand the window camo either, but it appears only on the black G80 and was not present in other spy shots.
The reasons for the roof camo can be summarized in two points:
1) If you pay close attention to the spy shots, you'll notice the roof's "double-bubble" has a different design than what we're used to from the F80, F90, etc.
From certain angles, the two lines, bubbles, or whatever you want to call it are much more sharp and defined.
2) The roof is an M-specific body panel on the G80 and you'll notice that BMW has not taken the camo off of any panel or area that has a specific M design. So far, the strip tease is limited to the doors, windows, and partial rear quarter before it forms the flared wheel arches as well as a very small part of the hood (the actual hood design is still in camouflage). That leaves all the M3 specific design elements still unrevealed (hood design, side skirts, front/rear bumpers, trunk-spoiler, roof, front fenders/side gills, rear wheel arches).
