Gummi Pfledge should solve this issue most of the time.

Dry/cold air creates friction between the glass, seals, and other components. Clean the seals then rub the lubricant, bam car is new again.

Amazes me that dealers can never figure this out. They'll keep your car for days, remove the headliner, etc. This should be the first recourse before all that. If lubricant doesn't solve it, then there is a more serious issue of course.
