I would again caution folks to ignore posts like the one above from forum members who claim to have information about production or delivery timelines without any established track record for accurately supplying such detail.
Most of you don’t need to be reminded that rumor control is of utmost importance when managing a website where anyone with internet access can come along and make bold claims. Sometimes new sources of legitimate information appear, and we always welcome such contributors. On the other hand, when members make false statements, contradictory statements, or are hostile and/or antagonistic, those sources must necessarily be treated with skepticism and information must be filtered. It’s no different from how, as an individual trying to make the best choices in day to day life, one disregards input that does not quite register high enough on the credibility meter.
Thankfully, with such great contributors as ynguldyn, SCOTT, and plenty of others, plus many additional trusted sources who contribute in less public ways, we are able to provide you information ahead of other media outlets. And most importantly, we have created a platform on which you can consistently rely to cut through the rumor and provide the truth in a no-nonsense way. All this while other sites ask you to wade through their click-bait, sensationalized stories, botched facts, and rampant unfiltered rumor spreading.
