You can individually order the lights (shadow or not) for less than the full retrofit kit if you'd like. Looks like about $5,600-ish for both front left and right if you want shadowline - I didn't check the non-shadowline.

Later on, yes, a $1,000 option for lasers. Initially, though, getting laser lights required the executive package which included other options.
