I don't like where this thread is going.. don't give up guys, I'm still waiting to hear from my dealer (chief technician acknowledged the problem and was really helpful, first step was of course to contact BMW) and I am determined to push for the solution.
Despite this annoying noise I absolutely love the car and honestly I don't see any alternative for me (within the same budget).
