G87M2 will be on the same platform as the Z4 and Supra. Rear-wheel drive platform that will use the same architecture. That is what I hear gossiping around right now.

I think they will go full S58 on the whole range. I don't see them doing an engine split because of cost reductions. Also putting the B58 in it would be fail, but then again it all depends on how they position the new M3/M4.
