I don't know where the $70K price tag comes from. M3P starts at $57K. The most expensive configuration (red on white, FSD) is $66K.

Steering was as light as it could be in the M3P, cornering was certainly not better, and traction control seems to be perfectly balanced on the M340 according to every reviewer on the planet so far.
