The G80 will have to be spectacular for BMW to get any more of my pocket change in this segment. 6MT and selectable AWD will go a long way to making the case for my piggy bank to get lighter, but the final look will be the make-or-break factor.
And colors. VIBRANT COLORS! I likely won't be waiting in line if we see the G80 debut with 2 whites, 2 blacks, 2 greys, tiffany blue, a baby poop yellow and some weird orange/red hybrid.
Let's be bold, BMW! Give me Java Green, Atlantis Blue, Technoviolet, even Avus - I could see myself adding any of those before white or grey or black for a sports sedan. I shouldn't have to drop an additional $5000+ for a non-greyscale or non-arrest-me red/blue/yellow car.
