Funny I was just saying this last night and now I see this thread lol I'm content with waiting 1 year.. time to have fun with my F85 cause I truly love this damn thing.
I feel good about the M3 though, I told a friend a few months back if the new M3 comes with the same drivetrain as the F90 M5 / X5M and that "2JZ but with better cooling" looking motor it's over...ball game...bimmer got it hands down and they'll also have my money lol
Btw that "2JZ" comment comes from when I saw early production photos of the short block which looked very 2J ish
