My question was really about why SCOTT26 chose to endorse an image of that particular 3D model to suggest that the production car was 85% similar to the concept, and where the model designer might have gotten their information from.
On closer inspection, although the page is titled "BMW 4 Series 2019 3D model", the URL (
https://hum3d.com/3d-models/bmw-concept-4/#video) suggests that somebody just made a model of the Concept car.
