This problem is well known on the G20 and its caused by the outer rear view mirrors. The eletronic modul in the outer rear view mirrors shorts as they are not completely water prof. This causes all side windows to stop working as they are connected to the same LIN-bus circuit. It has occurred 3 times for me. First time the workshop changed my right hand mirror, every thing worked perfectly for 2 months and the problem came back. This time it was the LH side mirror that fucked up. Since the is no update on mirror assembly since production start, the electronic modul was changed as this part has been updated. The right hand side fuck up again 2 minutes after the workshop had changed the modul on the left side when testing. So this modul was also changed. So there you go guys, now you know.
