I’m kind of a “nothing is more beautiful than your bare body” kind of person. I find it difficult to say a tattoo is something I like, especially one that covers your whole thigh or back. I’ve just never seen anything worth putting on my body I have to live with the rest of my life. I served in the Navy 24 years and was able to avoid getting one, and I’ve seen plenty of “motivation”. I just don’t get it. Plus, I don’t trust anyone to do art on me. There are plenty of “tattoo artists” but how good are they really? I’ve seen distorted faces or other features, misspelled words, covered up mistakes and so on. They need someone to practice on as they develop their technique. Seems like a high risk endeavor for something you could be stuck with forever. I guess I’m old fashioned.
