It has been reported that (one of, or the only) reason the I4 is launched in 2021 and not 2019 is that the union managed to get management to agree to build it in the Munich plant, instead of somewhere else. This was a quote from the union head, so not sure how accurate it is (he seemed to think it was a great thing).
