I did that with my f30 340 for a while and it wasn't bad, but the car stank like crazy because it was running too rich and the idles were a bit rough sometimes.
You're going to fee a difference in performance even with DP. You're going to love the tune, I'm stage 2 catted DP mission and the car is like a rocket.
As for Chargepipe, look into Injen, I was the test car for their intake and Chargepipe. They make one for supra and they tried it on my car and it slips on very easily.
