As an example my Mission Performance flash is the same whether it is stage 1 or stage 2 however I can change that. In my case both stage 1 and 2 are quiet and tame in eco and comfort and far more unhinged in Sport and Sport+.....but this is by design by MP. It can also be set to be almost as quiet as a 21 while running Stage 2 in Sport, Sport+

The tune is also through Mission. I recently fell victim to software upgrade following recall during regular servicing, and just trying to restore car’s sound profile and performance character. Hoping the stage 2 is the answer.
