So a C63S would eventually replace your M4 and you would have a M340i and a C63S Coupe in your garage? Basically this is a question of which one to take Euro Delivery on, not which car to get because it sounds like you are getting both.

The logical answer is the one that's more fun, but this is a strange combo of cars. The C63S is a luxury coupe with lots of power, but still heavily leaning towards straight line speed and luxury and not necessarily driving dynamics. The M340i is a luxury sedan with some very nice sporty enhancements to give a taste of track-like performance. They are both kind of jack of all trades, master of none, not sacrificing luxury or usability too much for the sake of driving dynamics like lets say a 911 or even an MX-5. I'd say the M340i is probably going to lean more on being more fun as a driver's car. The updated interior is going to be a bit more novel than the older C63S. But the C63S is going to sound nicer and probably be a bit more satisfying given how the V8 performs over the 6.

Answer: Rent a Porsche so you can abuse it more and not worry about break-in procedures and better negotiate a discount on the new car on the lot when the time comes.
