I am just now seeing this thread... but I was able to successfully submit for a 2021 M340i Dravit Grey order in late 10/2020 for a January assembly slot. My dealer had to flex the order over to Germany and had a Munich allocation slot open at the time.
The car left the factory after assembly completed on 1/13/21 and I am now waiting for it to arrive at the Performance Center in South Carolina for delivery (which also happens to be a 15 minute drive from my house
). Just waiting for it to get onto a boat and come over, hoping to get it by around the beginning of 3/2021. Driving straight from there to the shop for a week to have ceramic coating and some PPF installed professionally, and then I'll be on the road.
Hoping the info on timing of the order and how long the process has taken is helpful in this thread.
