Highly unlikely that any F3X B46/B48 engine is affected. This is not a fault in the engine, instead it's an isolated defect with the supplier and its parts that was used in production from November 2018 to September 2019. The F3X was already out of production in October 2018.
This recall could potentially expand but only to G20/G29 models. But as I stated in my earlier post, this seems to be a very low incident recall as only 26 Canadian VIN's are affected in all of Canada and 217 USA VIN's. |
