I've heard of a few classing PPF as a modification and refusing to pay out (its invisible, unless stealth or the like). I kind of get that though, as PPF is bloody expensive and not an original part.
Maybe their algorithms think if your car is PPF'd or ceramic coated you're more likely to drive like a knob. No, it suggests you're more careful and protective of your car, drive properly and don't treat the steering wheel like a piece of furniture or only look ten feet in front of the bonnet, like 90% of tw@ts using the road.
