I have a 21' M440i convertible and the suspension to me is much tolerable. Yes, it is not as responsive as the M2 comp., but I certainly can live with it. Also the M440i is a heavy car, therefore the ride as you said is similar to Lexus and MB.

I was going to replace the front sway bar to an after market one. But the amount of work is something I am not willing to tackle. I believe one has to drop the sub-frame for the install.
