A 4-cylinder supercar? Are they really repeating the same recipe that the i8 used and just adding one cylinder? Will this also have skinny tires and only okay handling as well? Why not harken back to the original M1 and use an inline-6, the brand's bread and butter powertrain that they've been known for for years!

An Audi R8 with a high revving V10 or Merc AMG with its growling V8 seem more appealing to me.
