I had another conversation with my SA and Parts guy at my dealer. They now say that the staggered winter 18" 796M's on showbmw *should* fit on M340i's even with ZTK, and confirmed by running my VIN with BMW. We joked that I was very skeptical they'd fit. They say their info from BMW says they should, and if they don't it's not my problem. With my BMW CCA discount, went ahead and just ordered them. I'll let everyone know whether they actually fit.
Those MSW's look great, and I'll probably buy the exact same set if the 796M's don't work.
