Regardless of stock/in stock units, the ability to negotiate a discount should not be affected. At the end of the day, a custom order is still a unit sold and a unit that the dealership is receiving as an ordering requirement. As for something as common as a 330i, there should be no hesitation on the dealerships part to negotiate even if it is a custom order.
