I have never had an issue with my throttle actuators and had replaced the Rod Bearings at 125,000 km. The Rod Bearings came out to be in a very good condition considering my driving style and the climate we have in the Middle East.

Isn't the problem with colder temps and colder oil rather than being on the hot side?
