Update from my previous post

I used the yellow Rain-X washer fluid the first time and it messed up my washer fluid level sensor. The warning for low washer fluid would not go away.

I drove around and literally kept spraying my windshield until the tank was empty. I then filled it with the BMW washer fluid (purple one) and the next day, the low washer fluid went away. I was very lucky that I did not have to pay to change the sensor. The sensor sits inside the reservoir and the Rain-X fluid coats the sensor, causing it to think the reservoir is empty, even though it is not.

I am sticking with the BMW washer fluid only from now.
