Have had a long line of light colored interiors:

2004 V70R - Gobi Sand (very light biege)
2011 535i - Oyster nappa
2014 Cayenne - Tartufo / Umber Light tan and light brown)
2013 911 - Pebble (light gray / off white)
2018 & 2020 Tesla - White
2023 Cayenne - Chalk

Upcoming 2024 G80 - Ivory

When I got the V70R, my kids weren't born yet. I had two kids and sold that car when my son was 4 and my daughter was about 6 months. Back then I used Leatherique

I've been using leather masters and Colorlock. The Tesla was easy, being "vegan" leather (aka nice vinyl). The new Cayenne was coated and has been holding up well. The old (2014) Cayenne was uncoated and just cleaned every 4-6 months. It still looks pretty clean for 10 years and nearly 125k miles.

It's not that much effort. Buy what you want and invest a little time.
