The OP made some unsubstantiated claims about the quality of the cars assembled in Mexico, essentially based on nothing but the fact the car wasn’t assembled in Germany. If he had ordered an X5 and found out it was assembled in Carolina, would the response be the same? Genuine question.
Audi also manufacture in Mexico, as do Ford, Hyundai, Volkswagen etc etc. I’m sure the OP’s 401k includes plenty of companies that manufacture globally for all sorts of reasons, does he then complain about the returns? No.
