I agree that it should work. And it does. The issue is - there is so many settings in those cars now and it its not easy to figure them out. ( so it takes time to read the manual or this board to learn)
But if set up right =- they work all the time.
I have it in 2 cars now x5 and M340.
Carplay
Hotspot wifi and
connected services work on both cars everyday.
