Moral of the story. Before buying anything online or on the forums DO RESEARCH!!! Reverse search. Check the user to see if they are actually active on the forums! And DIG! Dig for as much information as possible and if things don't line up, don't even think about sending money.

Good morning everyone. Just wanted to make a quick thread warning you all about a scam that I just almost fell for. Also reached out to somebody else who was going through the same thing!
After posting a thread on "WTB E90 Msport bumper" I was PM'ed by a user under the name of FLW99. Using the attached pictures!
After using a reverse search I found out this was a special bumper because of the moulded lip. And was for sale 8 years ago...
after investigating, I asked for more pictures which he then proceeded to crop the original and send me those LOL
