I would just get it repaired .... there is no way they are going to pick up that "BMW Individual" etching is missing. Also, if you are going to lease another car after this, I am sure they will look the other way.
As someone said, if I borrowed your car and curbed a wheel, I would get it replaced or repaired whatever you prefer with no questions.
