Fortunately, an M means more than just a radiator and LSD
Unique engine, suspension (m-sport not the same as M), cf roof, etc.
Granted, the M340i might be closer to an M3 than ever, but 80% doesn't mean the same. That said, buy whatever makes you happy and enjoy it, that's all that matters in the end!
