I ordered a M340i (C3Z | MAPQ | ZDA | ZDY | ZPK | ZPP | 1CR | 1PU | 688 | 6NW 2VF | 316 | 4UR) on 11/20.

This will be my first BMW. Super excited but a bit puzzled about how the timeline is progressing.

Looking at all the data points in the forum and super frustrated about my timeline.
The entire order process should be taking 8-10 weeks (order to delivery for California), per the dealer, but there are meaningless delays happening.

At first over the phone, BMW NA said my target completion is 1/13. Two days ago, started saying 1/14. Has anyone seen any date changes?

Dealer is blaming the Tanzanite Blue II paint. Per other people's data points, that doesn't really add to the order time.

Holiday's break is supposed to be adding 3 days (2 on Xmas, 1 day on NY day - Thanks to kevinyao1027 who got the info from BMW NA over the phone)

Overall, for the folks ordered around mid to late November, what's your experience? Anyone has any insighsts?
