The extra rubber has definitely helped transfer the power to the asphalt much better, but do you think there's too much "poke" in the back"? I've never really understood the "ideal" place for the tires to meet the fender. Or is it the wheels? I don't even know what angle to take these photos.

I'm thinking the rear might look better if I add side skirts and a diffuser that wraps around to the side. Might make it look like it pokes less?

I'd love your input. You can be honest, I can take it.
The rear probably has about 10mm too little offset meaning that a 10.5" with ET40-45 might work better by reducing that poke down by 5-10mm. As far as wheel widths, the 9.5 with 255/35 and 10.5 with 275/35 are perfect -- same setup I had on my E90 M3 and those wheel sizes support the tires perfectly, feel nice and taught and are still 0.5" less than the specified wheel width range maximum for each size.

I just did a quick calc using Apex wheel fitment guide. Their 10" rear wheel is ET38. A 10.5" wheel is 0.5" or 12.7mm wider; dividing that by two gives 6.35mm extra width on both sides of center compared to a 10" wheel. So their 10" rear front spacing (side facing outward) would be 3mm + 6.35mm less than your 10.5" wheel. The 3mm is offset difference (38-35). So the perceived "poke" on an Apex 10" rear wheel would be 9.35mm less (further in) than your setup. Aesthetically and perhaps functionally (i.e clearance with full range of suspension travel), Apex is likely in the right spot.
