It is not so much a template, as it is what my Xpel installer has...patterns are downloaded into a laser cutter which then produces the proper shape/size with excellent cut lines. OP, just call a few Xpel dealers and ask when they expect the file to be downloaded to their equipment.
Yes, most installers do the same. They download the template and the machine cuts it per template but not all templates are equally designed; some don't even have folded edges, corners, etc. Templates are primarily used to help save installation time for the installer.

Any good/experienced installer doesn't need the template; they can lay a blank sheet on any panel and cut where needed for a perfect fit and finish around edges and corners.
