I reviewed the M340i vs the C43 during my trip to the local MTown event. As before, I feel that the BMW for the first time is the overall middle approach in this comparison. It has the power but doesn't feel as fast as the C43, it's now heavier than it's rivals, and it's not as refined material wise as it's price point suggested.

Yet I still feel it represents the best balanced approach. For me, the C43 was either too comfy or too sporty. The M340i is as fast but it's not as obvious about it. That being said, yes I would dearly love some aspects of the C43 some of the time, it's the all of the time where I feel it falls off for me.

Haven't tried the Alfa, have been simultaneously super curious because I love my E90 and super terrified with the horror stories that abound on the Giulia.
I think the Alfa, especially the Quadrifoglio, would be a great car to rent for a week-long trip. Not too sure about owning long term.

Their leases are pretty low too, and some dealerships are shared with more premium brands like Porsche and Maserati - although most are shared with Fiat - so the possibility of getting a good loaner is available when need be. I'm sure the 2.0t is a lot more reliable than the Quadrifoglio though, and a 2 year lease could be very interesting...
