Shouldn't matter anyway, any BMW factory has the same quality control and tech. Plus I'm sure the good people in MX are very proud to work for and build BMWs. |
It's accurate... the 3 series didn't start being built in San Luis Potosí (Mexico) till mid 2019, around June I believe. The 3 on your VIN on your F gen may not be accurate, but on the G20 it is. 3 for Mexico, W for Germany.
Also I understand if they are proud to build BMWs, yet if I'm purchasing a German car, I prefer it made in Germany . Once you start outsourcing builds, you sometimes do see quality control issues. |
SLP MX builds are not outsourced. This is a BMW plant, same as any other BMW owned plant.
