I agree with the comment below. If you're particular, purchased the car and plan to keep it for more than 6-7 years than it may be worth it. If you leased it I would say absolutely not and if you plan to dump it in 3 years you'll never get your money back. If you have an extra grand laying around and don't care then all of the above don't even matter. To each their own. I did it and plan to keep the car for 7-10 years if all goes as planned.
