Another problem is there is no way for the BCM to show a more accurate range unless you fully charge. When charging as the voltage rises to the set level and the charger stops, it updates the SOC circuitry to update the batteries capacity, otherwise it has no idea of the batteries true capacity. You should fully charge at least once a week if you expect the range to be accurate.
