Just came back from a test drive and the m340i is really really good. I also test drove a S5 two weeks ago and the m340i has a much better drive train and chassis. The m340i we drove had the adaptive M Suspension and that is a must have option. Even though i couldn't swing the 340i cost, we got a 330i but only one that had the Adaptive Suspension.
