Ordering now and banking on October/November delivery to possibly get better incentives is definitely a gamble. I played that game with my X5 order last year - Ordered the 2020 X5 before they hit dealer lots hoping the incentives would improve at time of delivery (October/November) - and they didn't at all.

Defiantly that's a good point and something to consider. Which to be honest I didn't think about incentives changing for the 2021 models when I placed my order I was upset and stressed about my 2020 order getting delayed then canceled with my lease coming to an end. I was only thinking about mf & rv. My build is scheduled to be finished next week. So I'm guessing I'm going to be in for a September delivery. Now I'm hoping they got some incentives going when I take delivery
