I’ve been trying to track my car and used the following website to double check the build date:
https://www.mdecoder.com/decode/last seven digits of your VIN
This worked well and told me that the production date of my car was 18th Jan 2020. The dealer told me 21st Jan.
The results go on to show how the car was specified, paint colour, seat colour, and various options selected.
