The 235 was floaty, squishy, and devoid of feedback. It was so bad that I took the financial hit after 18 months, and got into a 981 CS, which was on another planet in every way imaginable.
But you're right - that's just my personal experience.

But realistically, the M235 was the same way. You could get the same bumpers, brakes, suspension, etc on the 230i. The only
real benefit i saw was that you got more power from the factory vs a standard N55 car. but otherwise, the ///M designation itself just meant you got all the track package/msport package parts as standard.
