For a work-trucks that resides in a city, goes to a few or one work-site a day, maybe even tows a trailer, EV trucks make lot of sense. If it goes back to a yard where it can be charged overnight and it's not going on crazy long rural trips where it's driving constantly, it'll work great. There's a giant market for that. Even a lot of the regular work trucks and vehicles don't work for a lot of rural areas, so obviously it won't cover 100%, but again, it's a giant market that an EV work truck can definitely take advantage of.
Not the same as a "tow my boat 200 miles"-truck.
