I think someone previously mentioned their app data was only updating after a journey. My understanding is that it's supposed to push data each time you use the app - where is your car, is it locked etc etc - rather than be activity or action-dependent. Otherwise defeats the purpose??

Yes mine says continuous connection. It seems to push info to the server whenever a remote function is carried out through the app. Also when the car is unlocked or locked with the key/comfort access. |
Mm maybe I didn't explain well enough;
Let's say the car is parked in the downstairs carpark all day. lock it at 0900. Go to work. Without going near the car or using any remote functions, shouldnt I still get an update every time I flick open the app of where the car is, that it's still locked etc? |
It seems to only update when something has been "done" to the car. I suppose if your car remained parked and undriven, then the status shouldn't change.
All one need to do is activate the lock function with the app and then the car will update.
