I did the same for my wife's Mini Cooper S which is now 10 years old, and also on our Dogs' Beach Car - the VW Golf Mk7...…….both still look in excellent condition.
I wash all three cars with OptiCoat car shampoo...……….so easy to clean with a good paint coating on the body and wheels.

How much was ur opticoat? Was it the Pro Plus or just Pro
