USAA has gone downhill and its rates aren't even competitive anymore because everyone and their mother are somehow eligible. The contracting out mentality is screwing over its members. All may seem to be going very well but once you make a claim, good luck. I know this not the case for everyone, but a few of my colleagues who have USAA and made auto claims are still going through the process months after the accident.

I switched out of USAA and into Allstate and I can say that a small increase in premiums justified the handling of my claims process.

As far as banking goes, it's all the same really...Navy Federal / USAA...etc.
